The Machine ShopHealth & wellness employers
RUNNING · PULLED 2026-09-03
A machine that finds the companies hiring for exactly what I do.
They call it the hiring signal · Reads: Four public applicant-tracking boards
It reads four applicant-tracking boards every morning, keeps only live requisitions that name AI engineering work, and throws away everything outside health and wellness. What is left is a short list of companies that have written down the exact problem, with the posting that proves it.
Job postings are public the day they go up. A company posting an AI engineering role has already decided it has the problem, has already been given budget for it, and has already written down what it wants — weeks before a recruiter calls anyone.
Why this works for Health & wellness employers
A job posting is the cleanest buying signal a company ever emits. It is public, it is dated, and it says what the budget is for. Reading it the morning it appears is the whole edge — by the time a role reaches an aggregator or a recruiter's list, everyone who reads that list a week late has already called.

HONEST LIMITS
A live requisition proves intent, not urgency. Some of these roles sit open for a quarter, and the posting cannot tell you which.
The first pass returned Palantir and Zoox. Both genuinely post AI engineering roles and neither is a health and wellness company — the query was matching the role and ignoring the sector. Fixed by filtering the company rather than the title, and it is the reason this page names the boards it reads instead of claiming a proprietary source.
Four boards is not every board. A company that posts only on its own careers page is invisible to this, and there is no honest way to say how many that is.
Where this goes next
- The same engine reads any public register — licence boards, permit filings, new business registrations.
- Filter by sub-vertical, so a supplement brand never sees a hospital system.
- Watch the same requisitions over time: a role reposted after sixty days is a company that failed to hire, which is a different and better conversation.
Got a different idea while reading this? That is the point. Tell me what you do and I will tell you what I would read.
